BISHOP DAVID JEROME DAVIS
Bishop David Jerome Davis Sr. holds the historic title of Rector as opposed to Vicar, based on his responsibility and role as the founder of the work. Bishop Davis is married to Rev. Dr. Lynda Davis, Ed. D., and they have three children: Malcolm Anthony, Chandra Donnella, and Christopher Michael Davis.
Bishop David Jerome Davis Sr. is a graduate of Metropolitan Christian University with a Bachelor's degree in Systematic Theology and a Master’s degree in Divinity. He is also a graduate of the Midwestern School of Divinity, where he completed his studies with a Master’s in Sacred Theology. Bishop Davis holds an Honorus Causa (Honorary Doctorate) from Metropolitan Christian University.
A lifelong learner, Bishop Davis is also an alumnus of the Graduate School of Episcopal Studies, studying episcopacy's origins, purpose, and functions. He is married to Dr. Lynda Davis, Ed.D., an ordained clergy member and powerful preacher, teacher, and conference speaker. Bishop stands on the shoulders of great men of God and prolific proclaimers of the Word. Yet, he models himself after no particular personality, preferring instead to follow the prophetic leanings of the Holy Spirit as a Teacher of the Word. An unending student of religion and philosophy, Bishop Davis is now a doctoral candidate pursuing a Doctor of Sacred Theology degree.
